Silvia Grav's work is clearly recognisable, it has a dreamlike and surrealist touch. She tends to work almost always in black and white with an intense work of digitalisation and photomontage behind it. This artist, born in the Basque Country and currently living in Los Angeles, was practically self-taught and has been climbing the international scene with very few resources and a great deal of talent.
Her work, which also conveys drama and melancholy, deserves a slow, unhurried viewing.
If anyone has the chance to see one of his exhibitions, I wouldn't think twice about it.
